Another thing you can do is search up #witchtok on tiktok, that is a greate source for information! There is also witch animo and a very big source is tumblr!! witch tumblr is very big

not all witches are satanic/only work with the devil!
christain holidays very much correlate to pagan/wiccan holidays. easter, christmas, and halloween all are pagan holidays as well named ostara, yule, mabon, and samhain (day of honoring the dead). Christians adopted pagan holidays in a way to spread their faith.
witchcraft is NOT a religion. you can be christian, buddhist, pagan, wiccan, etc. and be able to practice witchcraft!
there ARE closed practices that you can NOT work with. Here is a reddit post on why, please research before you start anything!
everything has energy in this world. anything. that means anything can be apart of your craft. you do not need to spend thousands of dollars on items. many witches get their supplies from the dollar store, or diy their supplies, or are even gifted by their higher powers they believe in!
the biggest thing to note is that, in this community, we do not judge others for their beliefs! we all believe in different things and are a community based on practice and the knowledge of energy and working with it!
still skeptical? heres a link

1. read the misconceptions
2. research the different types of witches
3. via youtube/google/tumblr, search tips for beginners!
4. learn the term difference between wiccan/pagan/witch
5. create a safe space for you to write down your journey! a book of shadows (bos) is where you write down your notes and spells and things of that sort! a grimoire is also used as a synonym, however a grimoire is a book already written and a published bos
6. find time to meditate! it really helps
7. find your community platform! communicating with witches are very fun! getting into groupchats on twitter, tumblr, instagram, discord, amino, etc. etc. this isn't necessary but as someone who used to study alone, having witch friends is sooo much fun and i've met my most favorite people through this community!
